Application/Enrollment Form PDFREGISTRATION
When your enrollment in Philosophy Camp 2006 is approved, you will receive a permission number from John Wallace to register as a student in the course Phil 4326, Lives Worth Living: Questions of Self, Vocation, and Community. Registration opens April 11 for degree-seeking students at the University of Minnesota and April 18 for non-degree-seeking individuals and any student enrolled at another college or university (all are welcome and eligible to register for May and Summer Session courses). Students enrolled by April 1 must register by April 20.
COST AND PAYMENT DUE
The costs for Philosophy Camp are:
$850 program fee (covers room, board, and supplies)
$1,648 undergraduate tuition* (6 credits at $274.62 per credit)
$90 student service fees (approximate)
$100 late fee if enrollment is completed after April 1.
The number of single and double rooms available will vary with enrollment. If enrollments require double-occupancy, each student who shares a room will have his or her program fee reduced by $200.
The University will bill you for the total cost of tuition and fees in mid-June; the bill will be due on July 5.
Once enrolled in Philosophy Camp, should you decide not to register for Phil 4326 or later withdraw from the course, you will still be charged for and will be responsible for paying $400 of the program fee. Should Philosophy Camp not enroll enough students to be held, you will owe nothing.
